Supplements Buyer

Our Mill Valley store is seeking an experienced Full Time Supplements Buyer.

This position does the buying for all our unique, high-quality supplements and bottled herbs. We carry only products that represent our high ingredient standards, from whole food supplements and herbs to nutraceuticals. We focus on providing knowledgeable and compassionate customer service. We are looking for an experienced, team-oriented buyer with a commitment to health and food and who has strong knowledge of supplements and herbs. This position is full time (5 days per week), with mixed shifts, and one weekend day required.

* Buying majority of supplement and herb lines
* Managing shelves, resets and inventory
* Merchandising, including pricing and signage
* Providing warm, generous, knowledgeable customer service
* Being a lead source of knowledge on supplements and herbs
* Supporting customer service in body care and housewares

* Previous buying experience in the natural foods industry
* Strong natural supplement and herb product knowledge
* Love of helping people and giving outstanding customer service
* Ability to merchandise product in appealing ways to increase sales
* Ability to communicate well and respectfully and work with a team
* Commitment to finding the most natural products available
* Knowledge of natural bodycare also preferred – this position provides customer service in our entire Supplement/Bodycare Department.
